Silicone treated Polyester Canvas tarp is water resistant. Polyester canvas fabric are twice as strong and tear resistant as many cotton canvas fabric. Polyester canvas fabric are dry finished and have no wax and no strong chemical odor and do not stain like wax finished cotton canvas fabric.
